If you include all publications previous released through Inspire Creations my latest written works will be number 10. I have a chapbook that is complete (Simplicity) that will be available for purchase soon as well as an author version of my children’s poetry (Poetry with a Special Touch) with illustrations. Book 10 has definitely been difficult to write but I’m glad I got it out of me. This book is more of a self help personal essay. I talk about how I have been coping with depression while sharing helpful ideas, resources, and of course poetry. I only have one chapter of poetry though. I just wanted to talk about my personal experience with depression and suicide and share what I have learned. Most importantly this book is for my children. If they experience anything near what I have gone through I hope they understand they can get help, they don’t have to feel sad or bad everyday, and they can talk to mom and dad anytime for support. This book can help me explain things to them in a way they can understand. All I have to do know is just finish up a few poems and add references and resources. I plan to release the publication in fall 2010.
