Many people have asked me about copyright details when it comes to your personal written works. Work displayed on my website (www.therrinpoetry.com) is registered with the Library of Congress. This includes written works and photography. The best advice I can give is to go directly to the U.S. Copyright Office website at www. copyright.gov for information. I suggest you visit the frequently asked questions (FAQ) page first. This gives you a better idea on where you may to navigate throughout the website and gives important information in whom, why, and what can get copyrighted. Registering all of my works is no joke especially when it came to paying the fees. I have paid over $300.00 for registering my works and I will have my 10th publication to register shortly. I know $300.00 may not sound like much to some but imagine those who have various works under their name. I could imagine how much they make a year registering public works. I’ve done so many projects already and I can’t imagine myself not doing them in the future. I’ll probably end up paying thousands by the time it’s all said and done (lol).
